Between 1972 and 1988 ten patients with osseous involvement were identified from a series of 490 children with Hodgkin’s disease at the Pediatric Oncology Unit of Hacettepe Children’s Hospital. Axial bone involvement was observed in eight, multiple bone lesions were observed in seven, and B symptoms were observed in eight of these ten patients. Histopathological examination revealed mixed cellularity Hodgkin’s disease in five, nodular sclerosing histology in four, and lymphocyte depletion histology in one patient. The median survival time was 19 months after the detection of the bone involvement. Seven of the ten patients with osseous lesions of Hodgkin’s disease died.
